This Cookie Policy explains how MPS ÁGUA, LDA (AguAqui), NIF 518493938, 2735-340 Sulim Park, Pav. 74, Estrada de Paço de Arcos, Alto da Bela Vista, Agualva Cacém, Sintra, Portugal (business@aguaqui.pt), uses cookies on https://aguaqui.pt/.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to keep on your device. Without them, a shop would forget what is in your cart the moment you open the next page, and a site would ask you to sign in again on every click. Cookies give the site a short note it can read back later: a session number, your language, the fact that you are signed in.
A cookie set by the site you are visiting is a first-party cookie; one set by another domain (for example an analytics or advertising service embedded in the page) is a third-party cookie. Session cookies disappear when you close the browser; persistent cookies stay until their expiry date or until you delete them. Similar technologies (such as local storage and tracking pixels) are covered by this policy in the same way.
2. Cookies and tracking
Third-party cookies can recognise the same visitor across many websites, most often to measure audiences and to target advertising. For this reason, EU law requires consent before any cookies that are not strictly necessary are stored. This site shows a cookie banner and sets analytics or marketing cookies only after you allow them.
3. Cookie categories on this site
You can allow or deny each category separately in the cookie settings; only the necessary category cannot be switched off.
- Necessary cookies keep your session and shopping cart between pages, keep you signed in, protect forms against forgery and remember your cookie choice. They are set without consent because the site cannot work without them.
- Analytical cookies help us understand how the site is used (which pages are visited, where visitors run into problems) so we can improve it. They are set by Google Analytics, only after you allow the analytical category.
- Marketing cookies allow Google Ads and Meta (Facebook, Instagram) to measure our campaigns and show you more relevant ads, including on other websites. They are only set if you allow the marketing category.

5. Managing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time: the shield button in the bottom-left corner of every page reopens the cookie settings, where each category can be switched on or off. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before.
Your browser also lets you inspect, delete or block cookies, for all sites or per site. Blocking necessary cookies will break core features such as the cart and signing in.
